DOG TAILS v2 Published

The second edition, volume 2 of the “DOG TAILS: Pawtraits of Bay Area Dogs” book has been published!

Featured inside are photo portraits of 51 dogs in 17 locations all around the San Francisco Bay Area. Here’s one of the inside spreads.

This book project raised $2,300 for East Oakland Pet Support’s Emergency Medical Fund serving low-income households in Oakland, California and the East Bay. This photo shows the presentation of the donation check from the photographer Pipi Diamond to Connie Baechler, founder of East Oakland Pet Support.

Our launch party was in October 2020 during the Covid-19 virus scare, so we had the party outdoors in the front patio of Berkeley’s Hillside Club. We had amazing live entertainment by reggae star Far I Shields and many donated pet items were auctioned off to raise even more funds for the cause.
