Dog Tails Book Published
I’m so excited to announce that my first book “DOG TAILS: Pawtraits of Bay Area Dogs” has been published!
It is a hardcover book with a dust jacket, perfect for displaying on a coffee table.
Featured inside are photo portraits of 50 dogs in 21 locations all around the San Francisco Bay Area, from Devil’s Slide in Pacifica to Contra Loma Regional Park in Antioch.
Here’s what a typical inside spread looks like. Many of the dogs, like Conner, the dog on the right, have their own Instagram accounts. You can follow Conner on Instagram at @ConnerFurreal.
You can look through the pages and order yourself a copy online here: https://www.blurb.com/b/9610306-dog-tails-pawtraits-of-bay-area-dogs
This book project raised over $2,500 for PALS East Bay, a non-profit animal welfare agency that puts on monthly vaccine clinics in Oakland, California.
It was super fun having the dog on the cover, Poppy, and her proud parents, at the launch party! You can follow Poppy on Instagram at @Poppy_Poodlicious!
Here’s a testimonial on Instagram from one of the participants in the book. Many of the participants bought the book as a holiday gift for friends and family so more people could enjoy the photo portrait of their dog.
Volume 2 of the DOG TAILS book is now finished, but look out for an announcement soon when we put out a call for participants for volume 3!
